1970 Dodge Charger RT
ABSOLUTE AUCTION ON THIS RARE FIND - SELLS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER ON 8-28-21
1970 Dodge Charger R/T
* Original engine was a 375 HP 440 with a console shift automatic transmission
* Power disc brakes and power steering
* 8 ¾ non-posi rear end
* 150 mph speedometer and tik tok tach
* The car was disassembled in 1996 for restoration and sat apart in the owner’s garage until recently. The original engine and transmission were removed and are not with the car. The winning bidder can pick up a correct transmission and a newer cast crank 440 engine in Rapid City, included in the auction, condition is unknown on the engine and transmission. MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION ARE NOT CURRENTLY IN THE CAR
* There is a variety of new and rebuilt big block Mopar engines available that would suit this car well. Otherwise the car is quite complete. The body is very solid needing rust repair in the typical areas that collected dirt over the years, the trunk floor being the most obvious. At some point before 1996 the car was repaired and repainted and had some obvious body work done. With the little rust and prior body work it is still an excellent body for restoration. The car is only partially assembled with many boxes of parts included.
* Some missing items, BUT ARE available new: ..... Gas tank, radiator, exhaust system, R/T emblems, multiple small items, fasteners
