The writing is a poem in simplified Chinese about a beautiful day with the children out of school early and so they go with their mother to fly a kite. The red character is the artist's name. Purchased in Seoul, the capital of South Korea in the 1990s, the framed dimensions are 17" x 24 1/2". The estimated value is based on the lowest price for a framed Chinese water color on ebay.
