The Rapid City Club for Boys is an after school and summer program for boys, ages 6-17. 
 
The majority of the boy's face challenges of poverty, racial bias and instability at home.

The Club offers programs that promote education, recreation, physical and mental well-being plus services for their families in fulfilling basic needs.
 
The Club for Boys Foundation manages and enhances an endowment fund to benefit the Club for Boys in Rapid City. Each year, the Foundation supports the Club with a financial gift equal to 5% of the endowment’s value, based on a three-year average. The Foundation both contributes to the operation of the Club and serves as a safety net when times are difficult.
 
Since 2002, the Foundation has supported the Club with over $3 million for general operations and in times of emergency. Growing the endowment fund provides more support for the Club.

The world's earliest identified printing advertisement medium came from China during the Song Dynasty (969-1269 CE); a copper printing plate was used to make a poster advertising sewing needles.  This beautifully framed print of a Chinese poster advertisement appeared in 1918 for Lobowl Medical Co. Each small picture to the right and left of center touts different herbal medicines and supplements.  At the bottom is a calendar for the Chinese year which corresponds to 1918.  The language is traditional Chinese and the company is most likely in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Dimensions are 26 1/2" x 36".  Estimated value=$100

In 1777, he fought heroically in the Battle of Brandywine in Pennsylvania.  He was shot in the leg and went here, to Beckel House to recover. He went on to serve with distinction and the location is marked with a monument to him.  The photo is numbered (2/5) and signed in 1975 by the photographer, Dr. Robert R. The Jerusalem cross is a central cross surrounded by 4 smaller crosses and represents the command to spread the Gospel around the world, a mission that started in Jerusalem. It was part of the coat of arms of the short-lived Jerusalem Kingdom (1099-1203 AD).  This 3/4 " cross is 14K gold as is the 18" chain and was purchased in Jerusalem from a Palestinian Christian artisan in the mid-1980s. The reverse side says Jerusalem K14. Donated by Sara Gentry. French loop earwires are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.  Leaves are harvested by hand from the trees and then preserved for months before going through a process that allows organic materials to be electroplated in layers of copper, nickel and then finally dipped in gold.
