1934 Ford Cabriolet all steel original body with original Ford hood fenders grille ect. From Ford of Canada. The Hood and Grille are correct original 1933 Ford. Original all steel body with uncut original floor and uncut original firewall except for small recess in center, for engine distributor. Original rumble seat steel lid but no rumble seat cushions presently. Rumble Seat cushions could be added if desired. Original steel Deluxe dash woodgrained with glovebox lid. Original door garnish mouldings and windshield moulding also woodgrain to match. Body , hood, grille, fenders painted with Cadillac pearly Purple basecote-clearcote paint. Chrome bumpers front and back on original 1933 Ford bumper braces. Original frame boxed front to back. Rear crossmember unmodified. Center crossmember modified for streetrod transmission. Front crossmember replaced with Heidt's MustangII style crossmember utilizing 5/8" narrower tubular control arms top and bottom. Rack and pinion steering and 11" front disc brakes. 1994 Chevy 5-speed overdrive transmission. 1970's Lincoln Versalles disc brake rear end with 3.50 ratio gearing. Proper E-brake connection to rear calipers. Updated rear suspension utilizing Chassis Engineering parallel leaf spring kit. 1989 Trans Am tilt steering column and wheel. Full gold rim streetrod gauges with antique look finish. Full heater- air conditioning controls at dash. Steel roll bar mounting shoulder belts could be removed ...it is bolted not welded in place. New Goodyear tires on new 15" Weld rodlite 5 slot wheels. Engine 1991 Corvette 350CI tuned port injected computerized engine with about 49,000 original miles. New 12" clutch and pressure plate. Low miles Chevy 2WD pickup transmission. Reel comfy Bucket seats with power function both seats. Tinted glass all around. New Hartz black canvas folding convertible top installed by present owner. Current South Dakota Title and current registration match the VIN stamped onto the chassis by the 1934 Ford assembly line workers.

These terms are hereby set forth and entered into between McPherson Auction and the person or entity signed and described on this page. The buyer’s acceptance of the terms and use of the assigned bidder number will further verify the acceptance of these terms in their entirety.

Buyer is responsible for purchases made on this number. This bidder number is valid for both days of auctions. Please contact McPherson Auction immediately should you misplace this.

Buyer agrees and understands that a buyer’s premium of 6% plus applicable sales tax is charged at this auction. The buyer’s premium is added to the gavel price for each item purchased.

Each Lot is sold “AS-IS-WHERE-IS”, with all faults and defects and all errors of description. Buyer understands that: (i) any and all information concerning any Lot is provided by Seller; (ii) McPherson Auction does not make any representations or express any opinions of its own concerning any Lot; and (iii) McPherson Auction does not undertake any duty to examine any component of any Lot, research the title documents or the provenance of the Lot or verify any information provided by Seller for the benefit of Buyer or anyone else.

All Statements contained in any catalogs, advertisements or public announcement of any type pertaining to the sale, including without limitation any statements concerning condition, genuineness or authenticity, origin or provenance, previous use or ownership, manufacturing or restoration processes, year or age, serial number, make, model or mileage of any Lot or of any component of any Lot, are provided by the Seller, not McPherson Auction, and are either expressions of opinion or are for ease of identification only, and they are not to be relied upon by Buyer as representations of fact. Buyer assumes all risks associated with any nonconformity of any Lot or any component of any Lot. As a condition of participation in the auction, Buyer represents that he/she will conduct any inspections and examination necessary to satisfy themselves of all material facts before making any bid.

Buyer hereby waives and releases McPherson Auction from and against any claim, demand, liability, or expense of any kind arising out of or related to the Lot, expressly including without limitation any assertions of negligence (including negligent misrepresentation), breach of contract or breach of warranty. Buyer agrees not to join McPherson Auction as a defendant in any action or proceeding arising directly or indirectly out of the condition of the Lot or any alleged representations concerning the Lot, and further agrees to look solely to Seller with respect to such matters. If Buyer fails to comply with this provision, Buyer agrees to reimburse McPherson Auction for all costs, expenses and fees, including attorney fees, in defense of such claims.

Cars sold on Friday must be removed from the venue as soon as possible on Friday. This must happen in order to make room for the Saturday cars. Please have a plan made as to where you can move your cars to after settlement has been made. If we all work together on this, we can help the crew and the Saturday sellers accomplish this lot change in a timely manner.  Everyone, including the auction crew and sellers, would like to enjoy the evening and have an opportunity to get some supper and a chance to rest. We appreciate your attention to this. Thank you.

 

OUT OF TOWN BUYERS;  WE WILL WORK WITH YOU TO HELP SECURE SAFE STROAGE FOR YOUR PURCHASES. COSTS ASSOSIATED WITH THIS WILL BE THE COST OF THE BUYER.

NO AUCTION ITEMS ARE ALLOWED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE AUCTION SITE UNTIL FULL SETTLEMENT HAS BEEN MADE OR ARRGEED UPON ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED.

FRIDAY CARS WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE AUCTION SITE FRIDAY EVENING BY 6:00 PM SO THAT WE CAN BRING THE SATURDAY CARS IN.

SATURDAY CARS WILL NEED BE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE AUCTION VENUE BY NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM MIDNIGHT AS PER HOTEL REQUIREMENTS. EVERYTHING HAS TO BE OUT, INCLUDING OUR OFFICE AND AUCTION EQUIPMENT, HAS TO BE OUT OF THE CONCERT HALL BY MIDNIGHT SATURDAY.  

WE WILL WORK WITH EVERYONE AS BEST WE CAN BUT, THERE ISN’T ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE FRIDAY CARS AND THE SATURDAY CARS TO BE ONSITE AT THE SAME TIME, THIS IS JUST PART OF THE DEADWOOD TRADITION. PLEASE WORK WITH US SO THAT WE CAN GET THE SATURDAY CARS INTO POSITION FOR SATURDAY AND STILL BE ABLE TO GET SOME SUPPER AND A NAP.  THANK YOU.
