1953 FORD F100
This wild pickup's exterior features screamin' yellow paint with gold and silver pearl flames and lettering. A tilt front 4" chop, frenched antenna, shaved doors, widened rear fenders, smooth tailgate and custom roll pan highlight the body. The truck sits on 18" and 20" Intro Radicalli billet wheels with Goodyear Eagle HP 225/40ZR18 and 295/40ZR20 tires. Power comes from a strong 351 Windsor engine backed by a C6 automatic transmission with a shift kit and finned aluminum cooler. A 9" Ford rear end is mounted via parallel multi-leaf springs. The engine compartment has received the full dress treatment with chrome, polished aluminum and stainless throughout. A polished aluminum radiator cools it all. A cast Caddy style air cleaner with a flame-polished cover tops it and the polished air conditioner compressor and Vintage Air keeps the inside cool. The interior was not forgotten and features the full treatment with professionally done gray tweed upholstery covering the Tea's Design seat with folding armrests, molded door panels and headliner. VDO gauges fill the billet dash with matching air conditioning controls, vents and dash knobs. A LeCarra gray leather covered steering wheel with a polished smooth horn button sit on the GM tilt column. The doors feature power windows and keyless entry. A floor mounted Lokar shifter gives it that truck feel. Safety is addressed with the NSRA safety inspection, LED 3rd brake light and the electric wipers. Last, but not least is the Alpine stereo mounted and trimmed into the glove box with the amp and sub mounted behind the seat. This truck shows only 18,000 miles since it was put on the road in its current configuration.
